Refunds
Fourteen days. If you are in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. We apply that rule to everyone, wherever you are.
What comes back. Coins you have not spent are refunded in full. Coins you have already spent are not — they bought something that was delivered, and the pixels painted with them are on the map and partly other people's work now. If you bought 500 coins and spent 100, the 400 that remain are refundable.
Protection leases. A lease that has not started is fully refundable. Once it is active it is delivered digital content, so what comes back is the unused remainder — and if we revoke protection as a moderation decision, the whole purchase is refunded whether you asked or not.
Immediate delivery. Coins and protection arrive the moment you pay, which is the point of buying them. EU law requires us to ask you to agree to that and to acknowledge that starting delivery reduces the withdrawal right — so checkout asks, in one checkbox, before taking payment. Without that agreement we cannot deliver immediately.
Coins your community earned are not purchases and have no cash value, so they are outside this policy entirely. See the terms.
How to ask. Email [email protected] with the receipt. We answer within five working days, and a refund goes back to the card that paid, usually within five to ten days after that. You do not have to give a reason.
Nothing here removes any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
